Custom MMIC's amplifier offers full passivation for increased reliability.

CMD291 wideband Driver Amplifier MMIC operates from 16 to 24 GHz and delivers 22.5 dB of gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of +26 dBm and output IP3 of 32.5 dBm at 20 GHz. The amplifier is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching and offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection.

The broadband device is ideally suited for applications requiring high dynamic range. It is a pad-compatible replacement for the HMC498, with superior gain flatness and thermal conductivity.

Features:

  • Wideband performance
  • High gain
  • High linearity
  • HMC498 replacement
  • Small die size
