Motion Control Card Communicates Data & Supplies Power

April 6, 2006
Pittsford, NY: Motion control card uses an Ethernet bus to communicate data and supply power at the same time at distances up to several thousand yards. The FMOD-IPDCMOT card combines a 32-bit motion controller with an Ethernet communication protocol to control dc brush motors rated 10 to 48 v. The Ethernet communication allows implementation of protocols (TCP-IP, http, etc.) already embedded in every operating system.
