Sept. 22, 2022
Ingersoll Rand's 5100 Series Random Orbital Sander offer greater productivity and a comfort-focused design.

Producing a fine, swirl-free finish, the 5100 Series Random Orbital Sander increases productivity by removing material faster. It harnesses a 0.3 horsepower motor and generates a maximum free speed of 12,000 revolutions per minute. Its randomized orbits tackle a range of applications, including removing heavy material to fine finishing. The series delivers performance and power in an affordable package.

The random orbital sander is available with either a 3/16 in. orbit that is perfect for heavy material removal or a 3/32 in. orbit for finer finishes on surfaces such as wood, composites, fiberglass, sheet metal, and more. Configurations include either a 5 in. (127 mm) or 6 in. (152 mm) pad, and sanders can be ordered with either vinyl or hook and loop configurations. Each model is compatible with several central or portable vacuum systems.

  • Power: 0.3 HP motor for good removal rate – to get the job done quickly – allow more work to get done in a day
  • Productivity: Complete more work in a day. The sander produces a fine, swirl free finish on a variety of surfaces such as wood, composites, fiberglass, sheet metal, and other materials.
  • Performance: 12,000 RPM to match optimal material removal speeds for your application
  • Versatility: Comfort grip for user comfort and safety
  • Vacuum ready: Connects to a number of central or portable vacuum systems for efficient particle removal
