Significantly higher pressure ratings and greater reliability are two of the performance enhancements built in to the new Triple-Lok® Swivel Connection from Parker Hannifin Corp.’s Tube Fittings Division. The improved Triple-Lok 37° flare female connection is designed with the sealing location positioned away from the tip of the male nose. The new sealing position better tolerates surface imperfections at the tip, helps protect the nose during assembly and prevents it from gouging the female cone seat. Tested to provide increased pressure ratings in most sizes, the Triple-Lok Swivel Connection can eliminate the need for a bulkier, swivel fitting (non-standard) in order to meet higher pressure requirements. The Triple-Lok Swivel Connection also features a dual-angle seat that accepts both 37° and 45° flare fittings (in certain sizes). There is no difference in overall swivel nut size or fitting body, and no change in torque or assembly method. Features of the Triple-Lok Swivel Connection: Higher pressure ratings—72% higher than SAE J514 ratings; Performance-engineered for greater tolerance and reliability; Improved design with sealing position away from male nose tip; Dual-angle seat accepts 37° (all sizes) and 45° (sizes -4, -5, -8, -10) flare fittings; No change in torque or assembly method; Same overall swivel nut size
