MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced the release of xmLABOR™ v7.0, a labor timesheet application used with MicroMain’s suite of facility and maintenance management products. The newly streamlined xmLABOR adds timesheet functionality to the company’s MicroMain XM™ computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and MicroMain FM™ computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system. The tool allows staff and contract labor to enter and submit time quickly. New functionality allows supervisors to improve efficiency, as well, such as adding labor and updating a work order in the same transaction. Automated routines, simple pop-up windows, and click-of-the-button posting also expedite the timesheet process. Using xmLABOR, supervisors are able to track all labor hours—including daily work, vacation, sick leave, jury duty, and holidays worked—as well as time spent accomplishing specific maintenance tasks. Specific labor hour types, such as regular or overtime, make it easy to post hours correctly and automatically calculate labor costs. In addition, the timesheet tool allows users to see, at a glance, days of the week available to schedule work at a particular organization and non-work days, such as holidays. This is particularly useful as supervisors schedule preventive maintenance tasks, which occur on a regular basis throughout the year. With xmLABOR, maintenance departments can update work order details and status, email labor status reports to contract and staff labor, and view or print all posted transactions. Supervisors can also require approvals before labor time is posted. Multiple reports and graphs are available with the application, including Pending Transactions, Posted Transactions, Time Cards, Completed Work Orders, Labor Productivity Graph, and Time Spent on Completed Work Orders Graph. Additional filters give users the ability to create a virtually unlimited number of specific reports. "This latest version of xmLABOR offers streamlined features in an easier-than-ever format," said Pat Conroy, President of MicroMain. "With this module, we are continuing to demonstrate our commitment to provide the complete functionality our customers need in an intuitive and simple way."
