Sensaphone has introduced the next generation of remote monitoring – the Sensaphone® 2800 with wireless sensors. The Sensaphone 2800 is a stand-alone remote monitor and alarm notification system requiring no monthly fees. With eight external inputs, including four wireless sensors, it helps protect equipment and facilities by alerting owners, facility managers, lab technicians, building supervisors, and others to changes in critical environmental conditions. Each of the four wireless sensors can be located up to 300 feet from the base unit. That distance is extendable an additional 300 feet for each repeater, with no limit to the number of repeaters. The Sensaphone 2800 monitors operating conditions such as temperature, power supply, alarms, excess humidity, water on the floor, and intrusion. The Sensaphone 2800’s wireless capabilities make it ideal for applications in agriculture, water and wastewater, horticulture, and other industries where facilities spread out across vast areas. The system provides alarm event and status updates via telephone and custom voice messages. Batteries power the sensors for up to three years, and the unit monitors both battery level and sensor function. The system includes a standard battery backup. The Sensaphone 2800 will withstand extreme conditions in its sealed, weatherproof, and lockable enclosure. Installation features plug-and-play simplicity, automatically detecting and configuring new wireless sensors.
