3000 Pound Capacity Davit Crane Is a Wise Choice for Manufacturing
August 13, 2008, Winona, MN. – Thern’s new 5PT30 3000 lb transportable davit crane has debuted. The first production units have shipped and customer interest continues to grow.
The largest crane in Thern’s catalog, the 5PT30 offers product features previously unavailable to customers in a davit crane package, including a 112 inch maximum horizontal boom reach and 5 telescoping boom positions.
“I’m talking to customers interested in the 5PT30 everyday,” says Amy Oesau, Market Development Manager at Thern. “The applications are definitely out there for this crane.”
Featuring full 360 degree mast rotation and options for either manual or electric winch operation, the 5PT30 series readily fits material staging and workstation applications in the manufacturing sector. Customers can choose to switch out the standard fixed boom configuration for a ratchet-style jack and the transportable package comes with the added benefit of offering load capacity without requiring permanent installation. Standard pedestal, socket and wall mount bases are available.
Customers should contact Thern’s customer service department to receive product quotes and lead times.
