CLEANROOM COVERALLS OFFER RELIABLE PROTECTION

Oct. 17, 2009
Kimberly-Clark Professional now offers more choices in  cleanroom coveralls with the introduction of Kimtech Pure A5 Cleanroom  Coveralls.  These new non-sterile coveralls follow the company’s recent  introduction of a sterile Kimtech Pure A5 Cleanroom  Coverall.  “Our  Kimtech Pure A5 Cleanroom Coveralls are a good choice for both sterile and  non-sterile environments,” explains Damon Larkin, scientific apparel and mask  category manager, Kimberly-Clark Professional.  “We engineered them to  provide the reliable protection required in cleanroom environments, to reduce  the chance of contamination and provide for peace of  mind.”Kimtech Pure A5 (non-sterile) Coveralls are a  high-quality, affordable solution for many cleanroom needs.  They are  easy to don, comfortable to wear, and efficient to stock.   Their patented Reflex design is 7.5 times more  rip-resistant than ANSI minimums since it provides 12 percent more chest room  and six percent longer body length.  And the company’s SMS  (spunbond-meltblown-spunbond) material delivers cloth-like comfort and is 25  percent more breathable than Tyvek material.  The garments’ elastic waist  and back reduce loose-fitting material that could contact work surfaces or  billow out, forcing air to exit the garment at its  extremities.Built-in thumb loops keep sleeves from rolling back  and exposing the wearer.  In addition, a mandarin collar comes up higher  on the neck to provide added protection.          “These  comfort and design advantages may lead to greater satisfaction among wearers  as well as better productivity, since workers are more comfortable,” notes  Larkin.          Kimtech  Pure A5 (non-sterile) Coveralls are available in sizes small through 4XL.   A hood and boot covers are also available.
