Low Temp Hose
March 2, 2011
The new 792LT spiral hose from Parker Hannifin Corporation is engineered to work in temperatures as low as -70°F (-57°C) at up to 6,000 psi (413 bar) without loss of performance, thereby helping to reduce downtime and increase productivity for machines that operate in extreme-cold environments. In remote locations where sub-zero temperatures make repairs particularly difficult, a hose burst or leak can mean extended and costly downtime, not to mention possible environmental concerns. Parker's 792LT hose was specifically designed, tested and field-proven for high-impulse, heavy-duty applications such as mining, drilling and construction equipment found commonly throughout northern Canada and the Arctic Circle. It is also suited for side booms, snow groomers, snowmaking machinery and cold storage applications in general. Immediately available in -20 and -24 sizes, the No-Skive 792LT hose uses Parker's standard 79 Series fittings and the easy-to-use Parkrimp style crimper system.
