“i-Clamp” Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) provide a tamper-proof, quick, and reliable method for wire connections without stripping wires.

“i-Clamp” IDCs cleanly pierce the wire insulation and make a secure connection in one easy step. No need for wire nuts or electrical tape.

Designed to withstand shock and vibration, these connectors can be used with wires from 10 – 22 AWG. Connectors have a copper contact housed inside a durable translucent polycarbonate, which aids in the visual inspection of the connections and permits voltage usage up to 277 v ac.

“i-Clamp” comes in 3 styles:

  • T-Series is used for branching off a common wire run, allowing a connection without cutting or stripping insulation.
  • Two-Way Series features a unique dual channel that enables pre-assembly to a component or fixture. Once installed, wiring can be completed by simply attaching the other clamp channel to the existing wiring.
  • One-Way Series splices several lines together more securely than traditional methods of twisting wires together and holding in place with an electrical nut and tape.
