Point-Of-Attachment (POA) Cooling System for Respirators

Oct. 6, 2014

Portable Point-of-Attachment (POA) Cooling System delivers cooler Grade D breathing air for up to 2 users. Workers experience more comfort, less fatigue, and greater productivity while on the job. The vortex cooler is made from a non-toxic engineering plastic with an adjustable brass valve allowing greater temperature control. This system is capable of cooling breathable air by up to 20°F.

The maximum regulator inlet pressure is 125 psi. The individual pressure adjustments are based on different hose lengths and respirator types. This system includes two adjustable pressure regulators, two pressure gauges and a pressure relief valve which allows two different types of respirators with different pressure requirements coming from the same air source.  The Allegro Point-of-Attachment Cooling System meets the requirements per 42CFR part 84 and NIOSH. Easy to transport at under 6 lb., this system is housed in a rugged, durable pelican carry case with a built-in handle, and can also be wall mounted.
