MaxLite changes the face of utility lighting with Polygon Linear LED fixtures, designed to deliver high efficiency with a high-end look for low bay applications in industrial facilities. MaxLite’s Polygon Linear LED fixture provides the energy and maintenance savings of utility lighting fixtures, but with an appearance sleek enough for classrooms, conference rooms and other indoor or covered areas where linear lighting formats are required. The Polygon can be mounted to the surface or suspended. A low profile height makes the fixture suitable for hanging from shallow ceilings, as well as mounting to walls in hallways where vertical lighting can be applied.
The Polygon is offered in standard lengths of four and eight feet. The fixture comes in three nominal wattages (44W, 55W, 80W) and two correlated color temperatures (3500K, 5000K) to suit a wide variety of illumination needs, ranging from warehouse sorting to classroom learning. Designed with a soft white translucent diffuser for low glare, the Polygon is offered in low bay and parking optic distributions. “The Polygon offers an upscale appearance and LED longevity at a performance price, giving specifiers an exciting new option for linear lighting in commercial and industrial spaces,” said Vice President of Product Marketing Pat Treadway. The Polygon is 0-10V dimmable using 100-277V drivers and future models will include an occupancy sensor with selectable ambient, dimming and delay time levels to support California’s Title 24 requirements for energy efficiency. Constructed with a one-piece aluminum chassis and molded end caps for a sleek appearance, the fixture is easily serviced through a full-length rear channel. The beveled surface resists damage from vehicle antennae when used in parking garage applications.
