LPWA Wireless Module

Murata Manufacturing Corporation's wireless module can support a wide range of sensors and a long range wireless protocol for IoT applications.

A cost-effective, small form factor LoRaWAN module can support a wide range of sensors and a long range wireless protocol for IoT applications. The CMWX1ZZABZ module has pre-certified radio regulatory approvals for operating in the 868 and 915 MHz industrial, scientific, and medical spectrum in most geographical regions of the world.

LPWA (Low-Power Wide Area) wireless technology enables the IoT (Internet of Things) applications, which usually require lower power consumption and longer range coverage.

LPWA can operate at much lower cost, with greater power efficiency. It can also support more devices over a larger coverage area with better bi-directionality.  Some LPWA technologies adopted the Sub-GHz bands to achieve the long range. Market forecasted that the total number of IoT devices connected over LPWA network will reach 700 million by 2021. 11% of the  IoT connections in 2025 will be using LPWA connections, such as LoRa, Sigfox, LTE-NB1, etc. and the services market will reach USD 75 Billion.
