Combining Caterpillar’s ruggedness and FLIR’s imaging prowess, the Cat S60 takes on-the-job reporting to a new level with the ability to quantify work as never before. The strengthened die-cast frame and 4.7-in. HD Gorilla Glass 4 screen allows it to withstand a 6-ft drop onto concrete; a lockdown switch for the speakers rigs it for submerged ops up to 16 ft for up to 60 min; and the FLIR Lepton long-wave infrared imager gives the user the ability to read heat signatures with temperatures ranging from -20 to 150°C (within ±1-2°C) and a distance of 50 to 100 ft.
Using MSX technology, this smartphone combines thermal and regular cameras to create images with distinct outlines and the appearance of a much higher resolution at a fraction of the cost.
With thermal imaging available at the simple touch of a button, users can quickly identify gaps in insulation, and electrical faults and monitor the performance of machinery. Users can even check the gas cylinder levels for your barbeque or find the freshest loaf of bread at the market.
